Yule Want to be There for the Return of the Kaimuki Christmas Parade on December 1

Santa’s coming to town along with the return of the iconic Kaimuki Business & Professional Association (KBPA) Kaimuki Christmas Parade! The KBPA Kaimuki Christmas Parade will return for the first time in three years on Thursday, December 1, at 6pm and will follow its traditional parade route traveling eastbound on Waialae Avenue starting at Chaminade and St. Louis and ending at Koko Head Avenue.

This year’s parade will feature an assortment of marching bands, scout packs, schools, businesses, walkers, trollies – and, of course, Saint Nick himself! Traffic will continue in the westbound lanes of Waialae Avenue so the best viewing for the parade will be on the makai (ocean) side of the street.

“We are excited to welcome back kamaaina from around the island to help us kick off the holiday season in Kaimuki at one of our most beloved traditions–the KBPA Kaimuki Christmas Parade,” said Calvin Hara, KBPA president. “We encourage our guests to come and enjoy the parade and after the event support many of our Kaimuki businesses – on December 1 and throughout the holiday season – that make up what makes this place so special.”

This year’s event could not be done without a little bit of Christmas magic and the following supporters:

  • Santa Sponsor – 3650 Waialae
  • Platinum Sponsors – Better Homes and Gardens, Real Estate Advantage Realty, HomeStreet Bank, Hawaii Dachshund Rescue, Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Niu Honolulu, Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, American Savings Bank, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Mango Tree Fitness and Martial Arts, Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union and Central Pacific Bank
