Super Bowl Sunday Lunch @ Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya Kapolei

This is a sponsored post.

My daughter and I were hungry for some ramen on Super Bowl Sunday, especially because the weather was a little chilly. Although the weather was colder than normal, it was still sunny and a nice day for a drive out to Kapolei. Because most people were probably watching the Super Bowl in their homes, there was no traffic.

Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya is located in the Kapolei Marketplace with lots of ample parking. I understand there’s a bunch of locations on the mainland, but this is the first location in Hawaii with new locations in Ala Moana Shopping Center and Pearlridge Mall.

We decided to order the Classic Ramen, Beef Sukiyaki, Pork Gyoza & Shrimp Shumai. Everything was delicious, especially the ramen and it was perfect for the chilly weather. My daughter also really enjoyed her Beef Sukiyaki dish and ate the whole thing. I should have taken a picture of the finished bowl because it was a lot of food and my daughter is only 13 years old. There was also a bunch of spicy menu options, but we can’t handle the hot stuff, so we stayed away from it.

If you are ever out on the West side of Oahu and are hungry for ramen, definitely make a stop here as its so worth it!
