We tried: Artizen’s new orange chicken sandwich

It’s still early morning as I’m posting this, but I know you’re already thinking about what you want for lunch today. You know what you want? Artizen’s new orange chicken sandwich.

Artizen’s new orange chicken sandwich, $13 (comes with fries).

That’s right, chef Brandon Lee has created a new chicken sandwich to honor his ancestors during the Lunar New Year celebration with a sandwich that embodies three of our favorite Chinese take-out foods: orange chicken, Chinese chicken salad, and honey walnut shrimp (mayonnaise). There’s a fun crunch of fried won ton pi in there, too, to make it almost gau gee-like.

Once again, Will Chen and I got a preview of this chicken sandwich, which starts selling TODAY through the end of February.

Now that we started to eat our way around the world through Brandon’s chicken sandwiches, what country should he explore next?
