Contactless Drive-in Movies

After being at home for about a month with the 2nd Stay at Home Order, it was refreshing to emerge on the first evening at a contactless drive-in movie with my daughter, my girlfriend and her daughters. We enjoyed the premiere showing of Spies in Disguise at Holy Nativity School in Aina Haina.

I was able to pick up dinner from La Tour Cafe next door and go online to pre-order popcorn, mochi crunch & water to enjoy during the movie.

The comfort of hanging out in your own car with food, family & friends is an amazing experience. It brings memories of my childhood watching drive-in movies into modern day with my family.

These drive-in movies are the creation and collaboration of Ben of Krave Marketing and Danny of My Kailua. It’ll be shown this weekend at Holy Nativity and part of the proceeds will go to the school. They were the first to bring back the drive-in movies which started in Kailua in May. It’s a safe and fun way to enjoy time with family & friends while being out of the house.
