A Day at PhotoCon

Around this time last year, photographers from everywhere gathered for the third annual PhotoCon Hawaii convention. Thanks to founder, Ric Noyle, PhotoCon has something for everyone, whether you are a professional, an enthusiast, and even a novice photographer.

Last year we got to meet some talented professionals, including Scott Robert LimRyan Moss, and Luke Yakymiv. It was an eventful day that included listening to presenters, participating in some hands-on workshops, visiting vendor booths, and running into friends and colleagues.

As we wait for PhotoCon 2020 to commence, here is a short video I put together looking back at last year’s convention.

An eventful day filled with creative photographers, hands-on workshops and interesting vendors.

With no end to the pandemic anytime soon, I’m sure photographers of all levels are itching to get out and shoot. Lately, with social distancing and stay at home orders in place, I’ve been finding inspiration to photograph anything from family portraits, landscapes, and night photography whenever I get the chance.

If you want to hone your skills or get more inspired, this year, PhotoCon will take place virtually on November 7th and 8th. Registration begins on September 25. For more information and details, visit their website.

Until then, whether you’re a seasoned pro, a budding enthusiast or a beginner photographer, just stay focused and keep on shooting!
