It’s a good weekend when you can stop by the side of the road to pick up some huli huli chicken under the shadow of the sugar mill in Waipahu. Props to the workers of Ray’s Kiawe Broiled Chicken for bearing the heat from the fire and from the aunties waiting impatiently in the sun.
