35th Annual Okinawan Festival

The smell of adagi in the air near Diamond Head could only mean one thing: the Okinawan Festival is back. With clear skies — and thankfully, no hurricane warnings in sight this time — the 35th Annual Okinawan Festival kicked off the first weekend of September in true uchinanchu spirit. Here are a few images from what could be the last Okinawan Festival to be held outdoors
