30 days of Apple
So I’m on day one of #30daysofapple after 4 years(ish) of living in a MS and Android world. I’ve decided to try and go back into the apple eco system for lent. Except I’m late for lent, and doing it only on Fridays didn’t seem to make sense. So, I’ll do it for a month.
Why am I really doing this? One well content, two, I keep making judgements about apple but in truth it’s been 4 years since I was seriously inside the Apple Ecosystem, and in computer terms that’s generations of change. So with the assumption that just like the seismic shift in paradigms between windows 8.0 and windows 10, there’s had to have been an equivalent level of change on the mac side. 4 years ago, mobile computing was just barely out of its diapers, content creators was a thing that wasn’t considered “a real job” and well Apple still developed it’s prolevel apps (iMovie pro anyone?). It’s time I try out macos (first notation, what happened to X, where did the X go? tehe), and see what iOS has turned into over the last 4 years. Wish me luck, I’m already annoyed with things and it’s only a few hours into day one.
Keep an eye out on twitter and facebook, for the hashtag #30daysofapple where you’ll see me complain and compliment (hopefully) about my time with apple. I will also be blogging my experiences, what accommodations I’ve made.
